Bank is the second-largest branch network in Cambodia organized the 24th
General Assembly under the topic of “Building a
Bright
Future Together” in Sihanoukville. The event had
attended by the board of directors, senior management and the outstanding
performance staff of Hattha Bank. The event had organized to celebrate all the
achievements in 2021 and presented the strategic plans, targets, and
operational plans for 2022. More importantly, this event also wants to show
gratitude to Hattha Bank’s staff for all the hard-working to bring enormous
achievements and the commitment to achieve the new target of 2022.

Hout Ieng Tong, President & CEO of Hattha Bank said, “2021 was the year
that we endured and kept up the strong shield against the COVID-19 crisis.
Meanwhile, I would like to sincerely thank the Royal Government of Cambodia and
other leaders for their hard works in providing vaccines and managing the
COVID-19 outbreak effectively, so that our country returns to normal.”
He
added, “2021 was the busiest year and the year full of comprehensive
experiences, knowledge, and lessons that united us together, build strong
leadership, reputation, and successes with integrity and dignity. Due to this,
together with a strong team spirit, strategic plan, and long-term vision,
Hattha Bank has managed the COVID-19 outbreak effectively and successfully.
Therefore, it was a significant contribution to achieve the target as of
2021.”
He
added, “I am very proud of this incredible accomplishment of 2021, we put extra
efforts and hours as the one big team to strengthen our products and services
and new technologies to lead our banking services to be more innovative digital
banking facilities with modern, efficient, and fast to serve our customers’
need. Our strong commitment indicates the immense contribution to strengthen
Hattha Bank’s resilience and reputation in the financial market.”
In
the meantime, he also highlighted the main achievement as of December 2021 such
as loan portfolio achieved
at $1,691 million, total deposit balance reached $1,028 million, total net
income achieved at $50.69 million (CIFRS system) or $41.94 million (CAS
system), and most importantly, PAR30+ stayed as low as 0.8% which was a very
impressive result.
