Hattha Bank appoints MIN Sopha as new CEO, effective June 26

Phnom Penh, June 26, 2024: Hattha Bank Plc. announced that Mr. MIN Sopha has been appointed as the company's new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 26.  

 

Sopha is a professional banker who has been highly successful in Cambodia's banking and financial sector. He has been in leadership roles in leading Cambodian and international banks including BRED Bank, ANZ Royal Bank, and ACLEDA Bank for over 20 years. He has extensive experience and expertise in various areas including planning and managing operations, branch distribution networks, corporate, commercial, and SME banking, as well as consumer business development

 

Prior to joining Hattha Bank, Sopha served as Deputy CEO of BRED Bank Cambodia. He delivered remarkable achievements in managing and leading BRED Bank to be a reputable financial institution in Cambodia.

 

Beyond his professional career, Sopha also has held various volunteer positions, such as being a Board Member of Credit Bureau Holding Cambodia Co., Ltd (CBHC) and a Board of Trustee of International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP).
