The donation happened after Samdach Hun Sen announced the plan on 07th
December 2020 to reserve budget for buying one million doses of COVID-19
vaccine which will vaccinate 500 thousand people in the first phase
Recently, Samdach Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of
Cambodia has announced the plan of purchasing COVID-19 Vaccine for
vaccinating Cambodian people to protect against the COVID-19 infection
for free of charge. Samdach’s strategy is one of the most outstanding
initiatives, thus management, the staff of Hattha Bank, and Cambodian
people would like to join with the government and willing to donate
money for fighting against COVID-19 transmission in Cambodia.
