Mr. Min Sopha is a professional banker who has been highly successful in Cambodia's banking and financial sector. He has held leadership roles in leading Cambodian and international banks for over 20 years. He has extensive experience and expertise in various areas, including planning and managing operations, branch distribution networks, corporate, commercial, and SME banking, as well as consumer business development. Mr. Min Sopha holds an MBA degree from Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia, complementing his extensive practical experience across the financial services industry.
Mr. Wee Mun Seng joined Hattha Bank in August 2023 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He has brought in diverse professional experiences in banking and finance industry for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Hattha Bank, Mr. Wee Mun Seng held leadership position as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Amret MFI (Cambodia), Chef Executive Officer (CEO) at FINX Capital (Malaysia), ASEAN Business Consultant at Digital Finance International (Malaysia), Retail Banking Director at Al Rajhi Islamic Bank (Malaysia), Chief Operation Officer (COO) - Group Branch Network at Hong Leong Bank (Malaysia), And other various senior positions over his career. Mr. Wee Mun Seng holds Bachelors’ degree majoring in Finance & Marketing and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southeast Missouri State University, USA.
Mr. Shinya Takahashi joined Hattha Bank as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in May 2024, bringing extensive banking experience. Over his career, he has held key leadership roles, including Co-Director of the Multinational Corporations and International Fund Center at Vietin Bank Ltd. in Vietnam, Director and Head of Strategic Planning at MUFG Bank Ltd. in the Philippines, and various VP and Manager positions at MUFG Bank and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in Japan and the USA. Mr. Takahashi holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Keio University in Tokyo
Mr. Thorninn has been appointed as Chief Sale and Distribution Officer at Hattha Bank, effective November, 2024. He brings a wealth of dynamic experience in banking, insurance, microfinance, and the private sector, where he has consistently demonstrated strong managerial and leadership skills, particularly in sales and distribution, business development, digital banking, and operations. Prior to joining Hattha Bank, Mr. Thorninn held key senior management positions in both the banking and insurance sectors. Academically, he holds two master's degrees: one in Risk Management in Finance, Banking, and Insurance from University de Nante, and an MBA in Business Management.
Mr. Winston Tan is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services across Indochina. He was appointed EVP & Chief Finance Officer at Hattha Bank on June 9, 2025. Winston brings extensive expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and banking operations. Prior roles include CFO at Amret Plc (2024–2025), Prince Bank Plc (2019–2023), and Prudential Vietnam Finance Co. Ltd. (2015–2016). He started his career at KPMG in Malaysia, focusing on audit, before transitioning to banking and gaining comprehensive knowledge of retail, SME, and commercial banking sectors. His expertise spans business strategy, budgeting, funding, treasury, taxation, finance operations, customer analytics, and product development. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from The National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Mr. Tithya joined Hattha Bank in September 2017 as VP & Sr. Director of IT Planning & Governance and was promoted to be EVP and Chief IT Officer in June 2018. In September 2022, he was appointed to be EVP and Chief of Digital Officer. His role is to provide managerial oversight for technology strategic planning, project management and technology governance for Hattha Bank. He also provides consultation and guidance to IT Division, develops strategic plans, provides project planning and oversight, and develops and manages the Enterprise Architecture practice. He has more than 16 years’ experience in the various international commercial banks as Head of IT and in Telecommunication Company as a software developer. He has extensive handon experience in handling system and server administration, core banking system, various software applications, information security, and having very good knowledge of IT governance and framework such as COBIT 5, ITIL v3, PMBOK, and currently is pursuing for the professional security certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) Information and Communication Technology from Unitisiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.
Mr. Lina was appointed as EVP & Chief Credit Collection Officer in 2024, after starting his career at Hattha Bank in March 2005. He oversaw Hattha Bank’s business operations including credit & deposit operations and branch management. He was appointed as Chief Underwriting in 2018 for managing the critical functions including credit underwriting, late loan collection and credit admin functions. Lina graduated from the National Institution of Management in 2003; and has also participated in numerous practical training programs conducted both locally and internationally, especially in the Philippines, Vietnam and Luxembourg.
Ms. Busaya Lawalkul joined Hattha Bank in May 2024 as Chief Risk Management Officer, bringing extensive banking experience in risk management. She has held key positions, including Director of Credit Risk & Strategic at AUTO X Co., SVP of Credit & Portfolio Risk Head at Citibank N.A. Thailand, and Risk Head roles at Citibank N.A. Thailand. Academically, Ms. Lawalkul holds a Master's in Economics from the National Institution of Development Administration and a Bachelor's in Economics from Ramkhamhaeng University, both in Bangkok.
Mrs. Prak Sovannapich has served as EVP & Chief Operations Officer of Hattha Bank since February 2026. She brings over 20 years of professional experience in operations management across multinational financial institutions, an American non-profit organization including the international real estate and education sectors. At Hattha Bank, she oversees the bank’s end-to-end operations, drives operational excellence, and enhances customer experience to support sustainable business growth and long-term organizational performance. Ms. Sovannpich holds a Master of Commerce in Management, with an emphasis on strategic leadership, enterprise operations, and organizational transformation.
Mrs. Bonida has been appointed as the Head of the Compliance Department, effective December 24. She has extensive experience in the bank, having worked in various functions and gained knowledge in areas such as human resources, procurement, office management, compensation and benefits, staff retention strategies, staff training and capacity building, employee well-being, labor law, industrial relations, HR policy and procedures, communication, business operations, social performance, customer service, cash operations, and banking operations. Mrs. Bonida has participated in international programs, including the Young Leadership Program and the IATSS Forum in Japan, as well as a Human Resource Program titled “The Role of Executives in Industrial Relations in the Global Era” in Japan. She is also recognized as a “Certified Microfinance Expert” by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She holds bachelor's degrees in Finance and Banking and TEFL, as well as a master’s degree in Business Management.
Mr. Sochett rejoined Hattha Bank in 2024 and was appointed as Chief Internal Audit Officer in 2025. He brings over 15 years of experience in internal audit within the banking industry, having worked across Amret MFI, SBI Lyhour Bank, Vattanac Bank and CIMB Bank. His expertise covers risk-based auditing, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, internal control evaluation, and corporate governance review. With this in-depth knowledge, Mr. Sochett plays a key role in positioning the Internal Audit function as a proactive business partner for the Bank, driving both assurance and value-added insights. He holds MBA (2008) and BBA in Accounting (2005), both from National University of Management. He also participated internal audit training programs in Malaysia and other countries and completed several papers in ACCA program.
Mr. Ou Kimthon was appointed Chief Credit Underwriting Officer Acting in January 2026, after joining Hattha Bank since 2008. He has held several key leadership roles, including Head of Credit Underwriting Department, Head of Corporate Sales and Deposit Department, and Branch Manager. With about 20 years, he has broader experience across credit, deposits, sales, and branch operations. He holds a master’s degree in finance and banking from Build Bright University and a bachelor’s degree in management.
Mr. Aing Bunseng is a human resources executive with over 20 years of experience across banking, microfinance, NGOs, and the Food and Beverage industry in Cambodia. He has held leadership roles in organizations such as CCU Bank, Hanuman Beverages, SBI Lyhour Bank, Sathapana Bank, Amret MFI, ANZ Royal Bank, and KB PRASAC bank. Bunseng specializes in HR transformation, organizational change management, talent development, compensation and benefits, and corporate governance. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Institute of Business Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from the Institute of Technology & Management. As EVP & Chief Human Resource Officer at Hattha Bank, he will lead the bank’s people strategy, employee engagement, and corporate culture to support sustainable growth and make Hattha Bank a great place to work.
