Phnom Penh, August 28, 2024 – Hattha Bank, a member of MUFG, organized an annual donation ceremony to contribute KHR 40 million to the Save the Children Foundation for the second consecutive year. The ceremony was held at Hattha Bank Tower, located along Samdech Hun Sen Boulevard (60-Meter Road), and was attended by Mr. Min Sopha, CEO of Hattha Bank; Ms. Sok Vanseka, Executive Director of Raksa Koma Organization; and members of the Bank’s senior management team.
This second donation of KHR 40 million demonstrates Hattha Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting the activities and mission of the Save the Children Foundation in promoting the well-being, education, and development of Cambodian children from all walks of life. Through this contribution, the Bank aims to help empower children to become capable future leaders and valuable contributors to society.

Ms. Sok Vanseka, Executive Director of Raksa Koma Organization, expressed her sincere appreciation to Hattha Bank for its annual contribution of KHR 40 million, particularly at a time when the organization has recently restructured its name and operations to become the Save the Children Foundation. She noted that the Foundation is expanding both its direct and indirect initiatives to promote and strengthen philanthropy in Cambodia, with the aim of supporting children from all backgrounds who require healthcare and educational assistance. Through these efforts, the Foundation seeks to contribute to the well-being and prosperity of children, families, and society as a whole.
