Job Description

The main purpose of the “Senior Officer, System Admin” position is to administrate, maintain and support all the hardware infrastructure of Core Banking System, ATM & Mobile Banking System, and Hattha Bank internal application system. Manage and controlling the resources utilization of hardware in order to reduce the hardware and software operating expense. To implement and manage the Disaster Recovery and Data Continuity Plan to prevent from critical and high risk of hardware failure. The main task is to maintain the system up and running 24/7 with the minimum impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install and configure Operating System (Unix, Linux and Window Server).
• Install and configure new virtual machines on Oracle VM for x86 and Oracle VM for SPARC.
• Perform daily performance and resources monitoring for operation system and Oracle servers.
• Monitor resources of servers, storages, troubleshoot, Operating System, virtualization (Oracle VM for Sparc and x86).
• Implement securities of operating system and perform regular securities monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Perform patching on the system (OS, Server, and Storage) as required.
• Utilize resources efficiency on Server and Storage for production, DR, and UAT environment.
• Implement and monitor user access rights on System.
• Implement the Disaster Recovery, Data Continuity Plan and new system administration procedure.
• Assist Manager on security enhancement on OS, Server, and Storage.
• Report to Manager of System Admin when there is any un-proper activity on the system.
• To ensure system is running 24/7 without interruption.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Skills Specifications

• Bachelor Degree of Computer Science or related fields.
• At least two-years experiences as System Administrator especially on Oracle Hardware.
• Working experience at MFI or Bank is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux, Oracle VM for x86 and SPARC.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Server and Oracle Storage.
• Able to work at night for solving critical issue or other tasks assigned by management.
• Good at oral and written communication skills both English and Khmer.
• Willing to learn new business application and new technology.
