It all began in 1994 when our predecessors
founded a food security project in the Kingdom with a clear vision to improve
the lifestyle and well-being of the Cambodian people. Starting from small areas
in rural Cambodia, Hattha Bank has been ever since expanding our operations to
25 cities and provinces to serve even more individuals and families nationwide.

It is our clear vision and long-standing commitment to serving the Cambodian
people that paves the way for our successful journey throughout the last three
decades and makes us one of the fastest-growing financial institutions during
the same period.
It was also this clear vision that led us
to an important milestone in 2020, which is the transformation from a
microfinance deposit-taking institution to a commercial bank even in the
troubled circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. This would not have
been possible without strong support from our shareholders but more importantly
the dedication, sacrifices, and patience of our Hattha Bank’s families.
We are proud of what we have accomplished.
For 2023, with the favorable country economic outlook, Hattha Bank is confident
that we will outperform the overall industry and continue our efforts to
promote the enhancement of Cambodians’ lifestyles via our retail consumer
products as well as the growth of retails and SMEs in Cambodia, via our
complete financial solutions that meet business needs while also contributing
to sustainable social development.
