Job Description

The main purpose of the “Unit Manager of Credit Portfolio Management and Monitoring Report” position is responsible for provide overall management of the credit risks, and to be responsible for addressing risk potential/emerging credit risks which will be impacting to credit portfolio and credit quality of Hattha Bank and for ensuring that emerging risks have been identified at the early stage and managed. The role will assist Head of Credit Risk Management Department in reviewing and updating policies and procedures or processes for credit risk strengthening, analyzing credit risk and segment risk, and producing credit risk reports for management, board of director and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work with sales team to develop other financial product sale guides to ensure these sale guides are fruitful for Salesforce. 
    • Assist Credit Risk Management Department to achieve the annual work plans, Department’s objectives and Hattha Bank’s goals.
    • Perform credit portfolio management and monitoring, perform credit risk analysis and segment risk analysis and suggest control when necessary.
    • Perform credit risk identification, assessment and suggest mitigation, perform risk assessment on new/changes of credit, product, service or process flow and suggest mitigation.
    • Analyze on the credit concentration risk, propose and review credit limit exposure.
    • Manage and execute projects independently from end-to-end; work with cross-functional to deliver on these projects.
    • Build risk culture awareness to all Hattha Bank’s staff and build capacity of staff under supervision to be able to effectively handle their work efficiently and more independently.
    • Prepare and verify monthly and quarterly credit risk reports for management, board and external stakeholders.
    • Performance relevant tasks as assigned by line management.

Skills Specifications

    • Bachelor degree in banking/finance or business management, or related fields.
    • At least 2 years experience in consumer banking, other financial or financial services industry.
    • Experience in data analytics; 
    • Prior other financial product management experience is preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge in other financial products, analytical, quantitative, problem solving, communication (written and verbal), presentation, relationship management skills.
    • Highly acquainted with computer systems and programs, such MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Email & Internet and core banking system is advantage
    • Be proficient in English both speaking and writing.
    • Be innovative, dynamic, and confident.
