Phnom Penh, 13th June 2024 - Hattha Bank, a subsidiary of
Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL), the fifth-largest commercial bank in Thailand
and a member of the MUFG Global Financial Group, is proud to announce its
generous donation of a Reverse Osmosis water filter system for sterilization
equipment, and an Ophthalmoscope and Retinoscopy (Welch Allyn) for eye
diagnoses, worth KHR 80,000,000, to Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC). The
donation also includes other stuff, as well as food and beverages for the
hospital's patients. This donation, titled "Together Building a Future
for Cambodian Children", was made upon the request of AHC and in
response to their need for medical equipment to treat all the patients staying
at the hospital.
As a responsible corporate entity, Hattha Bank
recognizes the significance of giving back to the community and supporting
organizations that have a substantial impact on society. Thus, this donation to
AHC aligns with Hattha Bank's core values and CSR pillars, which involve
providing financial support for the betterment of social welfare and promoting
the well-being of the Cambodian people.
